If you haven't capped out, go hit Tol Barad and you should be all set. After that, you need to do the Guild Challenges. That means Naxx and LK are both fair game for this challenge. Post by Juba75 1. As a Night Elf, no rep bonus for me and none of my guildies were on. So I decided to quest. Keep in mind if quests are grey, they won't add guild rep on using the tabard.
Or will we be penalized for having already invested time in a character and need to essentially write our main and other 80s off, levelling new characters for any benefits? If there is grandfathering, then there's a second problem, which is the death of the small guild.
The day Cata drops, larger guilds with a long history instantly become the super guilds of the realm, and while our mains in a smaller member or below guild will take substantial hits for leaving, we would be foolish to run up new characters in the main's guild, since it's smaller size puts them at a disadvantage.
And what about patching over a smaller guild? Two guilds that have a history of running 10 mans but run a 25 together could see one of them dissolved for the sake of guild power.
I am curious to see how they balance these factors. Comment by Umarmung Will the guild masters start of with full rep or will they have to work for it like every other guild member? Comment by Izlandi Does becoming exalted with your guild count towards the Exalted Reputation achievement? Comment by phorx Does anyone know if the human racial Diplomacy will work towards guild reputation?
Comment by theres a mount too:D. Comment by What about the guild titles in the user interface. Are these gonna be in-game ranks or like the pvp titles or maybe just like being a champion of a city? Comment by Found it quite odd. Alongside the name of my guild under my own character's name, i am bestowed something called "Guardian", as in "Guardian of Army of Darkness"? My guild members have similar titles, but most i've seen are called Recruits.
The guild ranking is pretty straightforward, officers, members, raiders and trials, and etc, so its not that. I wonder if its anything to do with the guild repuation? With each new advancement, you are bestowed a title to represent your repuation in the guild. I'm an officer and i got the Guardian title, and my Guildmaster has title Recruit. I can only assume that its a lesser title to mine. Tried my best to undestand but have failed :. Comment by Neutral to Exalted is 42, rep. Fractional weeks need to be rounded up because you cannot get part of a weeks rep without waiting the full week.
Popularity Rank 2, requires Guild level 12 Think I have the maths right.. So to get to the cap each week only on dailys if anyone is interested: at Comment by exdeath The first week i was able to get 6k rep, the second It reseted on monday this week :S. Even worse, a guy from my guild has even more rep than I, so i guess he got both weeks. Does anyone know when does it exactly reset? Comment by I would appreciate if any one can answer me on this, so what I have understood so far we have to take our guild as a faction and we will be working hard to gain reputation within our guild, so far fair enough concept of contribution toward guild, my question is just like factions and Cities we wear their tabard what If I wear my guild tabard will it increase my guild reputation just like I get from other tabards?
For example, I do my Deepholm dailies and get Therazane faction as well as guild faction for each turn in. The guild perks Mount Up, Mr. Popularity, etc are bonuses for being a part of the guild. Some achievements require that the members have a specific standing within the guild to be counted as part of the achievement Diplomacy for example, this requires members be revered with the guild to contribute to the achievement status.
Guild reward items, the things you can buy for gold and usually require an achievement to unlock, MAY require a status to use, such as Banner of Cooperation requires friendly reputation with your guild. Other reward items Armadillo Pup do not. Comment by Moonley If i earn for example Friendly with one guild, and then leaves it and joins another, will i then have to farm reputation all over again, or will i stay Friendly in the new one?
Nothing I do increases rep, including guild achievements. Is this intended? I was under the impression that the guild rep cap reset weekly. This will give you the guild rep gained within a point. Comment by Just started a new toon in the same guild that all my other toons are in and i am already level 5 and havnt recieved any rep with the guild that you would get for completing quests.
Is it due to the fact that my main has already recieved the weekly allowed rep? Or is it her level is too low to recieve rep? Comment by Gvaz If you get kicked from a guild, say for inactivity not logging on and you come back months later and re join the same guild, will you gain all the rep back? Is there no time limit as long as you don't join a different guild? I'm doing quests and not getting any guild rep.
I don't understand how this works. Comment by agentsalt If i leave my guild to join another guild and have the guild rewards like the Heirloom cloaks, do i lose those because of my reputation dropped to zero?
Comment by MisterEver The person who hacked your account probably joined your character s to their gold farming guild, or whatever, and then perhaps Blizzard disbanded that guild - or just your characters from it - before returning the account to you. You should try petitioning a GM to see if they can restore your guild reputation. Comment by Drazzildab My main is 85, I gain no more exp, do I still gain exp for my guild when doing things that would normally give me exp, e. Comment by nobleknight I haven't seen this asked, so sorry if I missed it: If your guild hits max guild level or you join one already at max guild level, can you still earn reputation by questing, or is it entirely dungeons and battlegrounds after that?
Comment by How can you tell if you've hit the weekly cap for guild rep? I know the obvious way would be "that you stop gaining rep", however, I have not played that much and seriously doubt that I have got 4k of guild rep this week. I just want to make sure I'm not bugged.
I am gaining other faction rep, just not guild. Comment by personally if your a Blacksmith your punished for helping your guild. You HAVE to lvl to 84 in order to get the patterns necessary to help the guild and complete your proffession. Yes its me again! And as far as guild hoping goes to start this all over again with all the quests completed is just lunacy. Who really wants to regrind Orgimar or Stormwind rep once your already there?
Comment by Marloss That way of determining guild reptutation received from quests is not true. I get either 12 or 13 guild rep for all the daily quests around there. Classic Vanilla The Frozen Throne Reforged. Explore Wikis Community Central.
