Papa's Brand New Bag : If you're feeling lucky, head up to Icecrown, set your dungeon to heroic, and enter the "Forge of Souls" instance. If you're extremely lucky, you might even get a bonus Battered Hilt like I did, on your first run! However, there is some confusion on the details of both bags. Some people say that they can both drop on either difficulty, while some say that the larger bag only drops on heroic.
Regardless, since normal can be ran multiple times, you may want to go after this bag instead of the heroic version. Sun Touched Satchel : Head over to Shattrah. Although the bag can also drop on normal, we're running on heroic for the chance for the Swift White Hawkstrider, since the bag alone isn't worth a run. The mobs are very close together, and the instance is linear, so you won't have a problem.
With a little bit of luck, you might find a Sun Touched Satchel of 20 slots. Since many people spam run this dungeon each day for the mount and Pheonix battlepet, getting this bag will be a nice bonus. Just remember to take a minute to loot everything.
When there, find "Witch Doctor T'wansi" at the entrance. Accept his quest The Hex Lord's Fetish. You'll need to kill "Hex Lord Malacrass". Down below is a map from Icy-veins. Return the item to T'wansi, and enjoy your new 24 slot bag! It does have a low drop rate however, specified to be at around 0.
Start pulling those mobs! As of 6. It will cost 8 Halaa tokens. It shouldn't be too hard to get on some servers, especially since the zone is CRZ. It's an extremely common drop, and you'll probably find a couple of these while out randomly killing mobs. If you don't want to try for any other bags, these are a fast and easy way to cheaply increase bag space. The giver of the quest that starts this chain can be found at The Grummle Bazaar , which is slightly to the right of One Keg if you're looking at the map.
Collect the quests from Smokey Sootassle and the other Grummles around him, and continue completing their quests until you recieve the quest No Pack Left Behind. After completing this quest, you'll obtain your new bag! Some players are going to enter Wrath with lots and lots of money, no matter what.
I think this is more just to give an alternative to Primal Mooncloth, and the fact that it's a nice money sink is just a nice bonus. But that's just my opinion. Comment by Osmigos The thing that really gets me about all these new bags is that while they keep increasing space, there is no increase in the need for space.
Not only that, but as sizes increase, 2 extra slots is less and less of an improvement over the previous bags. Comment by This is, sorry to say, a poor idea. People will only buy these so they can say "I have an Epic bag!
Nothing more. For 2 extra slots? Not mention the waste of the g I spent on the bag I will be replacing. I have 4 PMC slot bags. Complete waste of money for 2 Extra slots for one bag or 8 slots if your silly enough to upgrade all 4. Although tbh, if it was a slot bag I'd buy 4. But Im sorry, 8 extra slots doesn't wing it for me. Rant over. Enjoy your bag s everyone. Someone must really like this item.
Comment by In so far as size limitations on bags.. Comment by I can see some people wasting gold on buying this bag and trying to sell it on the Auction House to clueless people. This may die down over time; but when patch 2. Comment by Why pay g for 2 slots more? Drops in Reg MgT and think a little more often in Heroic off random trash mobs. Comment by This bag is the largest container in the whole game. I think while it does have a lot of room that price is way to high.
It has 22 slots and is BoE. Haris also sells three rings and one head piece. They are all very useless unless you want one for your bank or just to look good. Comment by I am having a problem buying this Did they disable her or take her outta service?
Comment by Shorlin 22 slot bags will probably be the first grade of tailor made bags in Wotlk, so I will be saving my money on this one for something worthwhile in Wotlk like leveling inscription. My main could use the bag space now though. Comment by Binds when Equiped! So give to a girl you really like! It's kind of ridiculous that the biggest bags of all can only hold one type of item. Personally, I don't want to have to waste my money on the biggest bag I can find when I can just get bags from a Tailoring character I have for the cost of 8 slots.
Least of all when it's an over-priced bag that has to be bought from an NPC named after a real-world celebrity. Quite honestly, that's pretty insane Blizzard has said that it doesn't plan to expand bag space that much because they are actually having storage issues, but won't they use up more storage if more and more people start making bank alts?
Comment by Personally when I pickup a bigger bag it means I can swap out a smaller bag from my bank, which is at the moment on my main full of 18 slots. So swapping out a 20 slot for a 22 on toon and therefore a 18 for a 20 in bank gains me 4 bag slots. I won't craft myself 20 slot bags for the bank but I will use hand me downs : With a Tattered Hexcloth bag available to your alts from ZA just by walking into a cleared instance, Sun Touched Sachel from mgt as a random drop and the possibility of a Pit Lord Satchel from maggy the chances are you already have at least one.
Comment by I have a bank alt that has a guild and four purchased tabs. Also, my main has 9 PMC bags. For me to upgrade all 9 bags it would cost 13,g for a gain of 18 slots, just not worth it. Moreover, the thing nobody's mentioned here is that any bags with the total number of slots not divisible by 4, leaves a bag with an incomplete row. Having crafted and bought Bottomless Bags, or other "odd numbered bags" I'll call them -- there are two downsides: 1 You tend to overlook the rows with just two slots - things often 'disappear' in those slots, and 2 The effect of those two-row slots is that they auto fit your screen and reduce the overall size of each slot.
A bag upgrade with a full 4 rows is worthwhile and worth the visual overhead shrinkage. A bag upgrade for a two slot gain is just not worth the visual overhead. The only reason I'd invest in these would be if I had a heavily-played alt or new main that didn't already have PMC bags.
Even then, it'd be a tough call. Comment by "Gigantique" is perhaps used due to its French-sounding last syllable and the spelling of that syllable ex. It is apparently an inaccurate French translation of "gigantic" which accurately is "gigantesque". One could imagine a fashionable bag to be very expensive. Note that this bag costs a lot of gold.
This fact, combined with the argument that PARIS Hilton the vendor's name is HARIS Pilton has an exceptionally fashionable and high-end lifestyle, could lead one to a greater understanding of the name and price of the item.
Comment by Personnally I'm not going to buy those. The only char I have relative bag space problems on is my raiding character. I use it however few hours a day to fool around in Sunwell and then swap to various alts. Thing like Imbued Netherweave Bag now or even Primal Mooncloth Bag , even though Blizzard stated they won't be increasing bag space -much- more.
So no, it's not a money issue, gold is very easy these days. I simply don't think I'll need a bag space increase before WotLK not to mention I'm considering rerolling. Then again, it's a good call by Blizzard and having "epic" bags is really tempting, too ;p. Comment by suskis since bags cannot be seen neither looking at nor inspecting a character, this time one cannot say this money sink is for people that want just to show off as those who threw away g to have that stupid label in front of their name!
Comment by If you carry slotters and use something else like 18's in your bank, not only are you getting 8 more slots to carry, but you also get 8 more slots in your bank when you move your 20's into it. Extra incentive to get them imo. Comment by Cr00xY Discoussion about money and cost effectiveness of this bag is just useless couse if u cant earn money in this game especially now when there are tons of dailys then u should play some other game.
I would like to know if she is gonna sell unlimited or limited when they spawn and such number of those bags? Comment by Allakhazam Hmm, I could use a couple of 22 slotters Comment by Thottbot Yeah its a 22 slot bag for a reason, Haris Needs all the beauty products in the world to hide her real, hideous face. View in 3D Find upgrades Quick Facts. Comment by Pankga amazing guide, thank you! Alliance characters can fight him as low as level i.
Comment by zhondria Hey, once you are Revered with the Voldunai, you can also buy a Pack of Many Pockets 30 Slot for Gold from the reputation vendor.
This bag might be slightly more expensive than Hexweave Bag. Comment by antonysdrea You can say that this guide bagged it xD. Comment by Hirokumata Papa's Brand New Bag has incorrectly indicated as having 24 slots but unfortunately it only has 22 slots :. Comment by rvnender Upon looking at this guide it seems that Blizzard needs to add more bag space. Comment by Unicorn Shadowlands pre-event is dropping a 34 slot bag, making it bigger than any generic bag on the list! Comment by RedSquirrel Another new "big bag" Comment by AzureCerulean Great listing and thank you for compiling it.
